looks

Hey people. I spent awhile messing with colors and shit. Tried to get the background to be a picture, but the only way I could do that was by tiling it which generally looked bad. So anyways, I think it looks alright (aside from that super annoying bit of green and white near that top that I can't figure out how to get rid of and would be super appreciate of anyone who did), but I'd love to incorporate some suggestions. Let me know what you think.

Also, here's a song :

One more thing: I made an account for us to host MP3's on on filefreak.com. IM or email me or Wudi for the login information; I'd rather not give anyone and everyone access (but ya'll are cool, no worries).

  1. Yeah, I've tried messing with the layout a bit and what I've found is that if you don't fully customize it yourself shit like this tends to happen repeatedly. The top corner is white because the image is rectangular while the post section is supposed to look rounded off. So, two solutions: 1.) change the background to white so the white blends in or 2.) make a custom graphic for the grey section. Ideally, by the end all of the graphics will be custom. I do not have photoshop, which is annoying, but I will probably snatch it sometime soon off waffles to deal with this to make some custom designs for the blog. Send me all the image files you used for the blog and I'll edit them and sex them up sometime, or if you have the time and means you can fucks with it yourself.

  2. Sorry, I should clarify in case there was any confusion (though I think you probably got it)--the page elements are all rectangular (god isn't programming beyond this by now?!) so to simulate rounded edges they just just slap on a bit of white (or whatever color the bg is) which blends into the white background. It's lame and fake and there's got to be a way of doing this better but I don't know that you can do it purely in html.
