lulz

Not a particularly great song by any means, but it comes bundled with a short little story that'll surely put a smile on your face (unless you're a frigid bitch). From amfmpm.org, by way of Hype Machine:

"This one time I was baby sitting, and to get my ward to eat his minestrone soup, I told him it was dragon barf. He began gobbling it up. About halfway through the bowl, he asked if it was really dragon barf. I confessed, and told him it was veggies and beans and noodles, mostly. "Eeeeuch!" the kid said, and refused to eat another bite.

It was an important reminder of how kid logic works- I knew that I had blown it by telling him what was really in the soup. It's an old trick to get people to stomach that which they would otherwise avoid like grim death.

When I would get sick as a kid, my mom used to hide my meds in ice cream. This is also how we get hipsters to listen to Snow Patrol."
